As week four of high school football started, your Porter Spartans faced cross-town rival New Caney Eagles in their first district game. Unfortunately, they came up short with the final score ending 21-19. This made the boys 0-1 in district play.

The following week they took on College Station and suffered another loss. Leaving your Spartans 0-2 in district play. The final score was 24-14.

Last week, the boys took on Lufkin at our very own Randall Reed Stadium. While the game was very intense, unfortunately, the boys came up short with the final score ending with 38-23. The Spartans will be facing off against the Cleveland Indians in their house.

Meanwhile, on Friday night the boys took on Cleveland and came on top. The boys were able to come on top with the final score ending 42-0. The boys return to action next Thursday as they take on Caney Creek at Randall Reed Stadium. Kick-off starts at 7 pm. It will also be tackle cancer night.
