December Staff of the Month

Congratulations to the December Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Jodi Card!

As Porter High School’s diagnostician, Mrs. Card assesses, diagnoses, and works to assist students with learning disabilities.

Ms. Card was nominated for this award by Ms. Erin Thomas.

“She has done the work of two diagnosticians all year now. Even when she is sick, tired, or hungry, she does the best thing for our students and is always there to support our staff. She is one of the unsung heroes of this campus and although not everyone may know her, she definitely makes an impact that affects every person in this building.”

Ms. Card does so much for the students of Porter High School and many would not be able to reach their full potential without her.

“I feel honored because if I didn’t have a lot of great people around me to help, there’s no way that I would have ever even been considered,” Card said.
