Deanna Cookies, and why are they so good?

Deanna Cookies, and why are they so good?

First of all what are Deanna Cookies? They are the most delectable, scrumptious, and addictive cookie you will ever have in your life. “Words cannot describe how I feel about Deanna cookies. They are the perfect culmination of sweet with a hint of salty, immaculately melted chocolate, and a dash of loving care thrown in. They are the closest thing to heaven on earth and I couldn’t replicate them if I tried (and I have, multiple times)”, states junior Zoe Barnhart. Senior Alexia Howell describes them as, “Sweet and Satisfying”, while junior Chassidy Caddell describes them as, “Gooey and the chocolate makes it feel like a whole different cookie, with the perfect amount of salt to balance it out.”

When asked about her secret to making the cookies, junior Deanna Harvey stated, “Crisco instead of butter, but it is also my love. I eyeball a lot of stuff, especially vanilla, and I use different chocolate chips than normal, I use semi sweet.” This goes to show the power of taking a simple chocolate chip recipe and making it into perfection.
