Baseball ended its pre-season with a record of 8-4. As the start of the district began, they were undefeated. They have had successful wins against all teams in the series.
The first team to fall to the Spartans’ defeat was the Dayton Broncos. In the first game of the series, the final score ended 8-4. Zane Adams with 6 innings 7ks. Shortstop, Jake Tatom went 3 for 4, 5 RBI, Adams 3 for 3, 1 RBI, and Conner Westenburg 2 for 4. Against Caney Creek, the final score ending 14-0. Adams went CGSO 12 K’s 2 hits. 2 BB.
The boys have only taken two losses against Lake Creek. They are currently tied in the first place. These next few games will determine playoff seeding.
