National Honor Society welcomes new inductees

On Wednesday, November 1, National Honor Society held its annual induction for new members. This is a ceremony for the students who first meet the requirements to be invited to apply for NHS, and then submit the application and in the end get accepted to be part of this grand organization.

With a total of 21 new members, our NHS is growing every year with better members who strive to help the community.

Hello, my name is Xavier Martinez, I am a senior and this is my 3rd year in the Spartan Oracle and I am the Graphic Designer. Within PHS, I am also involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, Orchestra, Color Guard, Art, & Academic UIL. In these clubs, I am the Parliamentarian for Student Council.

Hello! My name is Jackie Hernandez. I am a Senior and this is my fourth year on the Spartan Oracle and I am the Editor-in-Chief. I joined the Spartan Oracle because I thought it would be interesting which turned out to be true. I am involved in Spanish club, Academic UIL, Choir, Student Council(Energy & Environment Committee Chair), National Honor Society, Literature Club, and FFA.I enjoy spending my Saturdays volunteering and I am super excited for senior year.
