On March 22, Advanced culinary students ended the week off with an Italian-styled café. Chef Rodgers’ Advanced culinary students attended and served at this café. These students work hard to make sure our teachers have a delicious meal. Many steps come into making sure our teachers have a good experience. From testing recipes, making shopping lists, and finally making and prepping the food for our teachers.
These advanced culinary students work hard, not only for themselves but to make sure that our teachers have a good experience. The cafe’s menu consisted of Italian dishes such as lasagna, alfredo pasta, charcuterie boxes, and many more delicious items.
Typically culinary practicum students are the ones to serve the food but this time our advanced culinary class got the opportunity to be able to serve. Our culinary program enjoys being able to give our other students opportunities to be able to practice and to learn.
