The new lineup for the iPhone is the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Most of the iPhone 13 series are relatively the same as the iPhone 12 series, except for two major updates; the display and the cameras. All of the new iPhones have brighter screens for visibility and HDR. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have added a 120 Hz display. This means that when switching to tabs or scrolling it will feel faster and more fluid. In terms of camera, the regular iPhone 13s have dual cameras that are diagonal from each other. The iPhone 13 Pros come in Sierra Blue, Silver, Gold, and Graphite. The iPhone 13 comes in pink, blue, midnight, starlight, and (PRODUCT) red. As far as prices, the iPhone 13 Mini ranges from $699-$729 depending on GB storage. The iPhone 13 $799-$829, iPhone 13 Pro $999-$1029, iPhone 13 Pro Max $1099-$1129. Honestly, if you have an iPhone 12, I would not recommend upgrading to the iPhone 13. The minor updates are not worth the price.

In the iPads, there is a new refresh for the baseline iPad. It has the same 10.2 in size and the same design with only Space Gray and Silver colors available. There are only slightly different processor specs for the iPad, which starts at $329. There was also a new iPad mini, which hasn’t been refreshed for several years. The mini has an 8.3 in display and a USBC port. It comes in four new colors: Space Gray, purple, pink, and Starlight for $499.

Then there is the new Apple Watch Series 7, with the biggest update being a larger screen. The watch is 40% thinner than the Series 6. The screen now curves and flows over the edges a bit up to the metal body and also has a harder ceramic glass. It charges 33% faster. There will also be a new keyboard when typing. It will be available in green, blue, (PRODUCT) Red, Starlight, and Midnight. The price for the Apple Watch Series 7 will start at $399.

Overall, the new Apple updates were disappointing to say the least, changes were minimal with minor improvements to the hardware. It’s not worth the money if you already have the latest Apple products.
