The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee struck the stage on the nights of January 30-February 1. Our theater department did an exceptional job at executing the musical through the acting of our incredible students and technical work. Here are some responses from the actors.

Ayla Dalyan, who played Leaf Coneybear in the musical, said this when asked about her experience being a part of the musical: “This show has taught me so much, not only musically and theatrically. It’s also taught me how to emotionally be able to adapt on an impromptu scale. This show has meant so much to me and has truly adapted me as an actor.”

When also asked about her experience being a part of the musical, Samantha Cudiamat, who played Marcy Park in the musical, said: “I made a lot of great memories honestly, I do not regret auditioning at all because I’ve made so many great connections and I love them all.”
