Musical departments compete at UIL competition

In the month of March, the choir, and orchestra participated in their Pre-UIL competitions in order to get ready for UIL. The choir had their pre-UIL March 5- 6, 2o24,

Pre-UIL is a mock competition of the actual UIL competition where schools go and get judge by 2-3 judges on their performance and knowledge of the piece of music that they perform.

“I think that UIL is a good way to prove to yourself that you are confident in what you’re doing and a good way to improve on yourself and see what you need to do better,” said Caleb Holloway, choir student.

Choir UIL will happen between March 25, and 26.
