The original Avatar show came out back in 2005 making it 19 years old and now we have a second attempt at making a live action faithful to the animated series.
After the critical flop that was the 2010 The Last Airbender movie claimed by many to be the worst movie ever made, which isn’t a very high bar for the new Avatar show to overpass, but nonetheless it was expected to be good to some capacity. The original animated Avatar show was a great show with its light hearted humor, good pacing and great messages overall for young kids. The new show has gotten mixed thoughts overall many saying the pacing was too slow or there wasn’t enough action.
Maybe this criticism will be heard by the producers to help it improve since the show has been renewed to have two more seasons completing Aang’s avatar journey.
