January 14th, Porter High’s DECA Students headed to downtown Houston to compete for District. Distributive Educational Clubs of America (DECA) is a club that reaches kids who are interested in business-related subjects. They learn skills and mindsets for the business world.

This year, 2 of our best-competing students are advancing to state, Justin Kendrick and Aiden Garcia. They competed in Hospitality Services Team Decision Making, and they will be on their way to the state in March.
