This year’s homecoming theme is Nights in Neverland but some students think differently about what it should have been.

“I think Fortnite is the greatest thing man has ever brought on to itself, I think to honor it and having homecoming in its honor would be just the greatest privilege for us all,” said Jake Holsen.

Fortnie would have been an excellent theme with drinks being themed as drinks from the popular cartoon combat multiplayer game and I think many fun things could have been made coming from the brilliant idea like drinks based on the game drinks and masks based on the characters.

The opposite opinion praising a night in Neverland is that they think it’ll be a cute idea “I think it’s gonna be really cute, we ordered a bunch of great designs, I think it’s gonna be one of the best homecomings ever,” said Shelby Hernandez.

I think there is some hope for the theme being fun but the Fortnite theme would be much more anticipated and would be more appropriate for homecoming. What are people expecting others to dress like this homecoming? ” Fortnite skins like Jonsey, peely, and Renegade Raider,” said senior Kyle Benton Pearson.

The Fortnite spirit will be shining bright during this homecoming and will forever be missed.

Homecoming will be October 21st from 7:00-11:00 at Porter High School, tickets are on sale now.
