How do you feel about getting staff member of the month?
Ms. Ogata: I feel honored and was it was a surprise that I did not expect.
What do you do as the media specialist?
Ms. Ogata: I help integrate technology and educational technology for teachers. I help with the learning platform Canvas and other educational programs. I train professional development, and work with schools social media.
Do you ever miss teaching English?
Ms. Ogata: I miss having my own class but I was ready for something new.
What is your favorite thing about the new job?
Ms. Ogata: I like interacting with other teachers and not being tied to a classroom.
