Our Culinary students eager to hone their skills have started their after-school practice.
“We wanted more hands-on time to perfect our skills,” said senior Cheyenne Bueno. “Class is great, but this gives us space to experiment and really challenge ourselves.”
Bueno dreams of opening her own bakery one day. Under the guidance of their instructor, Chef Reed, students work in teams to tackle advanced techniques—like mastering knife skills, perfecting soufflés, and plating gourmet meals. With skills competition coming up, the students are pushing themselves to perfect every detail before competing. As they sharpen their skills and refine their recipes, we wish them the best of luck in bringing home a win.
