On February 21 and 22, the Criminal Justice Club traveled to Livingston High School to compete at the Texas Public Safety Association regional competition. Nine people competed at the region competition in the following events: Building Search, Felony Traffic Stop, Crime Scene Investigation, Domestic Violence, Law Enforcement Facility Design, and Job Exhibit. Eight of these students will be advancing to the STATE competition in March.
First Place in Building Search: Hannah Robbins, Juan Godinez, Gilbert Garcia, and David Rodriguez.
Second Place in Crime Scene Investigation: Valeria Morales, Elizabeth Chacon, and Johnny Gonzales.
Second Place in Law Enforcement Facility Design: Isaiah Mejia.
Lets wish these students luck as they move on to the state level in hopes of achieving a state title!
