The cosmetology program called Late Lab is made up of senior cosmetology students, who provide services like haircuts, facials, waxing, and more. This gives the seniors some real-world cosmetology experience and clients get services done at a reasonable price.

This program is open to students, staff, and visitors. This year Late Lab has added some new services this year like waxing, perms, and balayage. Late Lab will be held on Thursdays but are subject to change. “Late lab will be on most Thursdays depending on scheduling,” said cosmetology teacher, Dawn Hamilton. The senior cosmetology students start taking clients at 1 pm on Thursdays for any member of the community that is interested in making an appointment.

Any students or staff that want to make an appointment for after school are welcome to either contact Ms. Hamilton through email, any senior cosmetology student or by stopping by the Cosmetology room in F hall, before or after school or during passing periods.

“The Senior students are extremely excited to get started working and developing the skills acquired in this real-life experience of working in a Salon,” Ms. Hamilton said.
