Best Buddies held a chocolate fundraiser which ended on October 28th in support of their program. The fundraiser was a huge success and met more than their intended goal!

“They all did a great job, and the fundraiser was a huge success,” said Best Buddies sponsor, Mr. Smith.

Though the fundraiser was not a competition, Mrs. Robinson intends to reward the top sellers: Loralai Nash, Claudia Galarza, and Xochilt Castillo.

“My favorite part of Best Buddies is seeing students with and without disabilities just doing the things teenagers do all the time with each other as friends,” Mr. Smith said.

Best Buddies group also had a Match Party on November 9 where officers of the Best Buddies group got together with the Buddie students and met who their “best buddies partner” will be for the 2022-2023 year. Best Buddies also participated in Deck the Halls with a Christmas tree in the Rotunda and will have a holiday party in December for the best buddies members and officers.
