The Marching Band started their summer band camp back on July 22 and are continually rehearsing for their upcoming performances. They will be attending all football games this year. They will also be having state marching contests throughout November.
Marching Band will be performing against schools throughout this first semester. Starting January they will start rehearsing for their UIL season and towards the end of the year they will get ready for their spring field trip, and end of the year activities.
The Drum Majors who help the band directors perform these activities are Head Drum Major Angelika Mejia, Assistant Drum Major Phoenix Steele, Assistant Drum Major Paige Simer. They help lead the band in competitions, events, rehearsals, and other activities.
