HOSA, which stands for Health Occupations Students of America, is an international student organization recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE. HOSA’s main mission is to promote career opportunities in the healthcare industry and to enhance the delivery of good quality healthcare to everyone.
As we all know, HOSA is one of the main organizations at Porter High School, and this school year the new 2024-2025 HOSA Officers are ready to lead with passion, inspire greatness, and make this year unforgettable.
The organization offers various competitive events, leadership conferences, and many opportunities for students at our school to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills that will be valuable in their future careers in the healthcare field. HOSA also places a strong focus on cultivating technical abilities, collaborative skills, and professional conduct within the health sector.
With that being said, the new HOSA Officers think that everyone interested in the healthcare field should give HOSA a try and explained how being part of this organization means joining a supportive community of peers who are equally passionate about healthcare, fostering both professional and personal growth.
HOSA also selected the 2024-2025 officers for the group. The officers are below:
