Track season starts; many options for any type of runner

It’s officially track season! Grab your spikes and head to the track. There are many running and field events to do such as relays (4×1, 4×2, and 4×4), open events such as the 100m dash, 200m dash, and the 400m dash. For the ones who like to run distance, you can try out for the 3200m, and the 1600m. For some of the mid-distance runners you can try out for an 800m and/or the 400m. If  you’d like to try out for hurdles there are different distances you can run such as, 100m,110m, and 300m. If you’re not a runner, don’t worry, we have jumping events for you to choose from. Your options include, Triple jump, Long jump, High jump and Pole Vault. There are also throwing events such as Shot Put, and Discus.
