The girl’s Porter High School basketball team started their season off by playing a scrimmage against Livingston on October 30th. The girls are starting the season with a new head coach, Claverna Pierre, and new Junior Varsity coach, Molly Scogin. The varsity team is starting off strong this season with four returning seniors: Emily Knollenberg, D’Asia Williams, Cieara Dinwiddie and Azahriah Ellis. Also returning varsity members are: Junior Angelina Khalaf and Sophomore Allie Seybert. The girls have been working hard through the offseason and will see all their hard work pay off this season.
