The class of 2022 project graduation held a car show fundraiser on Saturday, April 2 to help raise funds for their after graduation party at Incredible Pizza. The seniors had an amazing turn out at the car show with over 50 vehicles registered and they raised over $2,917.

Along with the car show, there were vendors  for food and treats from Amexicun, Outlaw Kettle Korn, and Orion’s Italian Ice. T.H.I.S Insurance came out with great giveaways and the New Caney School of Rock band performed. Martin Zepeda Jr for EMCID Position 7 came out to represent the East Montgomery County Improvement District.

Tonya Zepeda, Class of 2022 Project Graduation Parent President would like to thank the parents, family and friends that came out to show support, shared flyers and posted on social media. She gives a special thanks to the student volunteers for working all day! And a personal shout out to the parents that helped put this together by going above and beyond including Jamie Johnston Allgood and Roger, Brandi Wesley Espitia, Elizabeth Woods, and Karen Davis.

“Our community really showed some love today and it was a blast!” said Mrs. Zepeda.

The project graduation party will be held at Incredible Pizza in Conroe on May 25, 2022 from 11pm until 5am the next day. Students will meet at PHS at 11pm to take buses to event. More details to come soon. The senior parents reviewed several factors in choosing a location including price, activities, and schedule availability and this was their best option. The senior package includes unlimited go karts, mini bowling, putt putt golf, VR, bumper cars, and non-ticket games. They will provide pizza, pasta, salad and cookies until 2:30am then buffet will switch to breakfast tacos and cinnamon rolls.

Ticketed games, coffee bar, candy bar and karaoke can be added for extra cost to the seniors.

“Several seniors like the idea of casino tables where winnings can be transferred to raffle tickets so we are getting quotes. But I took a couple of seniors to Incredible Pizza to test it out and they had a great time,” said Mrs. Zepeda. “Along with the party itself, we will have door prizes and raffle items seniors can win throughout the night.”

Tickets for project graduation are on sale now for $55 and can be purchased through the senior class officers at lunch or in room C108 with Ms. Key.

For more information, contact Ms. Key: [email protected] or in room C108. Tickets must be purchased by May 1,2022.
