The Porter boys soccer team has undeniably had an amazing season thus far. Since their pre-season they have been having tournaments and have won all but one of their games. They won their games against Waller, Lee, Bellville, Mission, Spring, Westside, and Westfield. The boys tied in their game against Cypress Park with a score of 2-2.

Following their successful tournaments, the boys began their district play against the Dayton Broncos here on their own home turf. The boys fought hard and brought home their first district win with a score of 1-0. And at their first away game against Cleveland, the game ended with a 2-1 win for our Spartans. The following two games were against Caney Creek and New Caney where the scores were 2-1 and 4-1 both being great wins for the boys.

Their last three games to finish out district were against Lake Creek, Montgomery, and Kingwood Park. The boys fought hard but tied against Lake Creek with a score of 1-1. The game against Montgomery finished out with an outstanding score of 6-0. And with a great end to the first round of district, the Spartans won their game against the Kingwood Park Panthers with a score of 4-3, leaving them number one in the district.
