Over the last several weeks, Spartan art students have been working tremendously hard making realistic, rodeo-themed, art pieces. The best pieces were selected and displayed at Randall Reed on Tuesday, January 11th. We want to give a huge congratulations to seniors Emily Knollenberg and Kaylie Garcia for being the two Best of Shown winners!

This year, our Spartan art students ventured beyond anything they’ve done before.

“It was different than anything I have done before and honestly a bit out of my comfort zone,” stated Knollenberg. “It was really cool to stretch myself in new ways and have fun while doing it.”

Though we had phenomenal artwork presented this year, the potential doesn’t stop here.

Head art teacher, Mrs. LaShawna Rhoden, said she is most looking forward to for the next years to come.

“Seeing the strong, upcoming, underclassmen continue to improve their skills and are even more prepared for next year,” she replied.
