Porter High School Spartans attend and perform at the Annual New Caney ISD Fine Arts Festival

Kaylee Brown

This year’s annual NCISD Fine Arts Festival was held at the new West Fork High School. Students from Pre-K through 12th grade got to show off their artwork and perform different acts; i.e. band, orchestra, dance, color guard, indoor percussion, and so much more. At the festival, we saw many performances like the Porter Percussions Indoor season show, PHS Band ensembles, and the PHS string ensemble. Through this festival, students were able to showcase all the hard work they put into their fine arts activities; whether that be through painting, playing instruments, acting, and/or singing.

Some of the teachers and directors got involved as well, with the Honor Band and Choir performing at the Fine Arts Festival. Many future spartans got the chance to perform with their future directors.

In the end, our Artistic Spartans got to show off their year of hard work at this amazing annual tradition, and we are so proud of them all. Next year, Porter High School will be hosting this annual event so be excited.
